Carmen’s Jewelry is a small, independent maker of handmade polymer clay earrings. This page explains, in plain words, what personal information we handle, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What this website collects

This website does not have accounts, forms, a shopping cart or a checkout. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not sell or share your information with advertisers.

Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of the visit) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these logs to identify you.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set cookies. When you close the cookie note, your browser saves a small “seen” marker in its local storage so the note does not appear again. It contains no personal information and never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

When you message us on WhatsApp

Orders and questions happen on WhatsApp. When you write to us, we receive the information you choose to share, which may include:

• your name and phone number;
• the earrings you are interested in and your messages;
• a shipping address, if you place an order;
• payment confirmation details, if needed to confirm an order.

We use this information only to answer you, confirm availability, process and ship your order, and, if you ask us to, let you know about new collections and markets.

WhatsApp is a service of Meta. Messages sent through it are also subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy.

Who we share it with

Only with those who help us complete your order, and only what they need: the shipping carrier (name and address) and the payment provider you choose. We never sell or rent your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep order details for as long as needed to complete the order, handle any questions about it, and meet tax or legal obligations. If you asked for new-collection updates, we keep your number until you ask us to stop.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what information we have about you;
• correct it or delete it;
• stop sending you updates about new collections.

Just send a message on WhatsApp and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will respect them.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
